Attorney General Mike Hatch (above) and Congresswoman Betty McCollum (below) had to stretch out their speeches when John Edwards was delayed.  When Edwards plane arrived at the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport, controllers wouldn’t let his plane land until Vice President Cheney’s plane took off.

Liberal talk radio personality Wendy Wild (above) energized the crowd by reminding them of the many political and economic benefits that “bleeding heart” liberals have pioneered.  Safety regulations, and social security were among the dozen or so mentioned.
